Restaurant Ocean's in Haffkrug

To finish off, we had breakfast here again today, it was very tasty. We have been in Haffkrug for a week and in the Oceans every day. The team is very friendly and accommodating, always a nice place to stay after a walk on the beach. We will definitely be back next year.

Good choice. Pleasant ambience. Waitress at first rather unfriendly which went down in the course. Fast service. Toilets clean. Great view. Outside seating with patio heaters.

I had minute steak and it was very good. The portion was enough. Service fast and friendly. I found the "sandpipers" very uncomfortable. The chattering is a bit annoying when eating. The smoked fish was also very tasty and this portion was enough. Tastes are different. I still don't understand some of the assessments 🤪

Super tasty 😋. Visited three times within a week, 2x in the evening / 1x in the afternoon. Always great quality, nice service. Plate warmed up. Extremely friendly.. If we are here again, this is definitely one of the first addresses for us. There was also a lot of salad with my meal. I ate the shrimp pan 🦐

If it were up to me 0 stars out of 5. So the one star is only for location. Service, quality of the food, the waiting time and the friendliness of the staff were an absolute disaster. All the tables around us were just as dissatisfied. Totally unfriendly staff. The waiting time 45 minutes until someone even cleared the table from the previous guest. Never again!!!

We cannot judge the food as we only ate coffee and the homemade cake. With the prices you should also consider the location directly on the beach. The poppy seed cake was very good and so was the coffee. The building is a beautiful thatched roof house and is comfortably furnished inside with a large outside area.

The location is wonderful. One of the waitresses was very nice. But that's it. The price ratio to the food was an absolute rip off. When the two of us sat down we wanted to leave because two tables complained about the food. But thought maybe they just have a different taste. First we ordered a salad for 14euro besides a pile of leaves 1 half a tomato 4 olives 5 half cucumber slices parallel grains and a bit of cheese In addition 3 small slices of cold bread which we ordered later The salad wasn't worth 3 euros. Then came the well-advertised ganel pan for 26 euros with 5 prawns and a pile of onions and a small baguette. We left 81 euros and got up hungry. Never go there again. Full rip off.

The food was delicious and the team was very attentive and very friendly. All drinks were immediately covered to keep the wasps away. The view is mega ... here I come back

Most of people come for drinks. I ordered two meals for two of us, we stayed hungry. Tasty but very small portions, about 19€ per portion.

Unfortunately we did not take the existing reviews seriously, but unfortunately they are true! Just a better snack. The food, at the prices just a joke, nothing special, very manageable portions, you can get just as much cheaper on every corner! What is not possible are the prices for wine! A glass of 0.2 liter rose wine for € 8.20. That's bold. The second star goes to the waitresses, who were very nice and attentive. It is sad that such a restaurant rests on its 'location'! We were there once and the last time.

Had a table outside; nice and attentive waiter. Food was very good, veg. Burger, veal currywurst and Spanish scampi. All recommendable

We ate here in a group (10 people). The service (Tim) was really very friendly and engaged and almost an entertainer but never intrusive. The food was excellent in our opinion! The price was absolutely okay too. The waiting time for the food depends on the rush but we all felt that our food was on the table after about 30 minutes. Will definitely come back next time.

Delicious fish dishes and I can recommend it with a clear conscience. The ice cream is also very tasty, although it looks a little different than in the photo. One less for a smelly toilet 🙄

Not good. The portions much too small, but not tasty. The cod with fried potatoes was tasteless and was probably in the oil for an eternity. The nuggets were ready without any taste. Definitely not a recommendation for these prices!

Nice restaurant with a large terrace right on the Haffkrug pier, highly recommended at sunset. Good food and nice staff, we were satisfied. Have had an evening inside, the atmosphere is pleasant there too. We also just had a cocktail there on the terrace, everything was nice and relaxed. Otherwise, many positive things have already been said in the reviews

Nice restaurant and friendly staff with a direct view of the Baltic Sea. The food was freshly prepared and tasted very good. We would love to come back. Thanks to the whole team.

The food is very good, the portions not generous, but sufficient. The ingredients fresh. The prices are in the upper sector, which is clear in terms of selection and quality. Cod and the cake counter are highly recommended. The cake is then also available in large portions for small money. The waitresses were all very friendly, although sometimes seemingly stressed. But maybe it is also due to the special circumstances. The view of the sea is also excellent. Gladly again.

Traditional German dishes: reinvented Occasionally, and only occasionally, do you find a restaurant which has managed to take everyday dishes and turn them into something that fits the present day. Oceans has done this with aplomb . It's been a few years since I was last here, but I'm really glad I made the effort (a 4km trek from Scharbeutz). What had been a turgid (but filling) fish, potatoes, and something green, has been turned into fish and a potpourri of colour and flavour which leaves you and your taste buds filled with a tingling satisfaction. Make the effort, it will be more than worth it.

we had a dinner here. the place is very nice and has a wonderful view and delicious foods but the waiter lady can do her job a little bit better. For example she can say first “Welcome” or “Hi” to her customers. And keep smiling✌🏻

Good restaurant with lake view! We had dinner here, as it looked very inviting from the outside. The interior is adequately decorated, but there was no atmosphere that you definitely have when sitting outside. The food and drinks are priced a bit higher. The portions were not very big. But the fish was delicious, as well as the Currywurst should have been great. I would eat here again, but not as a first choice. Still very authentic restaurant!
